Waymark Archive is a project by designer Oliver Deans
Whilst some of these markers are standardised nationwide, many are unique to specific regions, reflecting local culture, geology and identity through landscape. Each one invites us to uncover stories and heritage from those who’ve maintained these trails over the centuries, in turn informing and shaping the land they continue to guide us through.
The aim of this project is to unite outdoor enthusiasts, explorers, and those interested in the story of land access and navigation, to celebrate the unique design and captivating history contained within these little arrows.
